                   A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE ADMINISTRATOR 
                   OF THE DEPARTMENT OF PUBLIC WORKS TO EXECUTE 
                   A CONTRACT WITH THE STATE OF TENNESSEE, 
                   DEPARTMENT OF TRANSPORTATION, RELATIVE TO 
                   WALNUT STREET BRIDGE/BLUFF FURNACE IMPROVE-
                   MENTS, PROJECT NO. WSB-3300(15), WITH THE 
                   CITY OF CHATTANOOGA'S PORTION OF THE TOTAL 
                   COST OF FOUR HUNDRED THOUSAND AND NO/100 
                   DOLLARS ($400,000.00) TO BE EIGHTY THOUSAND 
                   AND NO/100 DOLLARS ($80,000.00).
                   
                   
                                                     
                   
                   
       	    	 BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF 
       CHATTANOOGA, TENNESSEE, that the Administrator of the Department 
       of Public Works be and is hereby authorized to execute a Contract 
       with the State of Tennessee, Department of Transportation, 
       relative to Walnut Street Bridge/Bluff Furnace Improvements, 
       Project No. WSB-3300(15), with the City of Chattanooga's portion 
       of the total cost of $400,000.00 to be $80,000.00.
